Hasta Takip Paneli ydybu@yekaraduman.uk

Neonatal intensive care follow-up, built by the clinicians who use it.

Hasta Takip Paneli schedules guideline-based screenings and vaccinations, tracks growth and treatments, and calculates parenteral nutrition for newborns in intensive care. It has no server: patient data stays with the clinician.

Dashboard showing today's visit list: five demo patients with their due and completed tests.
The dashboard: today's visit list, overdue tests and planned work at a glance.

What it does

A NICU patient needs dozens of time-bound checks. Missing one means a late eye exam, a missed vaccine or a catheter left in too long. The app keeps that schedule so the clinician does not have to hold it in memory.

Screening and vaccination schedule

Suggests dates from Turkish Neonatal Society (TND) guidelines and the unit's protocol, and shows the guideline behind every automatic date. The clinician makes the final call.

The daily round

Today's visit list, overdue and upcoming tests, daily weights and observation notes, with a printable version for the ward.

Growth and clinical modules

Fenton growth charts, bilirubin thresholds, PHVD follow-up, and catheter and treatment durations with warnings when they run long.

Parenteral nutrition calculator

TPN calculation with safety thresholds, also available as a standalone offline page for colleagues who do not use the tracker.

Handover and discharge

Shift handover summaries, pasted lab results turned into structured values, and lab tables for the discharge summary.

Several devices, one record

Optional sync through the clinician's own Google Drive, with record-level merging and nothing overwritten without asking.

Patient page for a demo patient: overdue hepatitis B vaccine, completed blood test, planned eye and cranial ultrasound exams.
A patient's test plan: what is overdue, done and coming up.

The same app on a phone at the bedside.

Privacy by design

The safest patient data is the data that never leaves the clinician's hands.

  • No backend. The whole app is a few static files. Data lives in the browser and, if the clinician chooses, in a single file in their own Google Drive.
  • Least access. Drive sync uses the narrowest permission Google offers: the app can see only the file it created, nothing else in the account.
  • Works offline. The ward network can drop; the app keeps working and syncs later.
  • No AI in the app. The app makes no AI calls, and no patient data is ever sent to Claude. Claude is used only to write and test the code.

Built with Claude Code

Built by a team of practicing clinicians working with Claude Code, with no software developers.

~690commits since July 2026
~22,000lines of code
9automated test suites
0servers to maintain

Claude writes the code, the tests and a written record of every design decision. Because a wrong date means a missed screening, each clinical rule is pinned by a test whose expected value comes from the cited guideline, not from what the code happens to return.

The next step is to bring in more clinicians from other units, so each can turn their own unit's workflow into tested features the same way.

Who we are

A small team of practicing clinicians in Turkey. The app started as a tool for our own unit and is in daily use there. Our goal is to make it free for every neonatal unit, starting in Turkey.
